What’s your career aspiration?
High school English teacher. Each semester at Purdue, I’ve had field experiences in different classroom settings. So I’ve been able to observe a variety of teaching and learning styles. I’m currently doing my student teaching, and it’s only reaffirmed my passion for the profession.

Any advice for prospective students?
Explore what you’re interested in. Even if you’re a little unsure, you should still just go for it. Take that leap of faith. You never know what could happen, and it’s a great way to grow.
Purdue is such a friendly, supportive community. Everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome.

How has your experience at Purdue been so far?
Terrific! I’ve forged strong relationships, especially with my clinical assistant professor. She’s kind, empathetic and wants only the best for me. She’s worked hard to connect me with opportunities and resources.
