STEP INSIDE: Purdue University Dance Marathon
In the fourth episode of Step Inside, we meet three members of the Purdue University Dance Marathon (PUDM) and see what it takes to raise more than $10 million for the children and families of Riley Hospital for Children.
Every fall semester, more than a thousand Purdue students commit to 18 consecutive hours of staying awake, dancing and supporting Riley families. According to PUDM members, it’s not just about the funds raised to help families pay for treatments and cure childhood illness – PUDM strives to make every Riley kid feel like a superstar.
Hear from Olivia Coughlin, Jackson Williams and Jason Zuñiga on how being a part of PUDM has taught them about service, sacrifice, friendship and making deep connections with others. For these three students, what matters most is the chance to make a difference in a child’s life.
