The Data Mine | Purdue + Cummins Look Ahead at Careers in Data Analytics

Rooted in Midwestern ideals, Cummins and Purdue University share a determination and unmatched work ethic. Now, these two Indiana institutions are endeavoring on a new project through work at The Data Mine at Purdue: developing, attracting and retaining data-fluent professionals to call Indiana home.

Matt Kerkhoff

Matt’s experience producing content for Purdue goes way back to his student days as a film studies and telecommunications major. He worked for the campus television station, Boiler TV, when it first launched in the late 1990s. As a senior, he created BTV’s first student-produced show.
Now, he shoots and edits videos that share the stories of Purdue’s students, faculty and alumni.
